
Joaquim S.S. Ribeiro
Joe Ribeiro's experience includes 25 years in diverse management roles at Jamesbury Corp. His responsibilities grew from engineering design and development, manufacturing control and MIS, to international operations and finance. Jamesbury was a multinational marketer and manufacturer of industrial valves and flow controls and expanded from a handful of employees to over 1800 during that time.
Over the last few years, Joe has completed several interim management engagements in organizations undergoing change. Disciplines varied from law firm management to software design/marketing and construction project control. He also has considerable exposure to corporate governance, in both for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises, including vice chairmanship of a publicly owned bank, and directorships in a multi-hospital health system, in a health maintenance organization, and three other private and public companies.
His training at the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School complemented degrees Economics and Finance from Clark University, and in Aeromechanics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Robert C. Macomber
Bob Macomber gained broad management and industrial experience over twenty years at Coppus Engineering Corporation, fourteen as Chief Financial Officer and Director. Coppus, a manufacturer of rotating equipment, are more than tenfold during those years, partly by internal development, and partly through two major acquisitions. Bob began his career in Ingersoll Rand's management training program after earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in Industrial Management and Operations Research from Wharton.
He has extensive experience both in industry and as a management consultant in arranging finances, including bank loans, leveraged debt, industrial revenue bonds, and export credit. HE has been active in corporate acquisitions and divestitures, from negotiating and funding the transactions to managing the accommodation of the acquired business and organization into its new parent.
Additonally, he has been involved in the governance of diverse organizations, including the board chairmanship of an independent secondary school and of a mutual fund, as well as board work for a health care organization and a private college.
